im not the biggest fan of food photography..but this had to be my picture today.

its not often i get this sandwich.

its from a very girly cafe. we usually only go there if someone is having a baby. or returns to work after having a baby. anything you would see decorating your grandmas house, i guarantee this place has it too. they know how to make sandwiches though. thats for sure.

this one is called 'some like it hot'. i wont tell you the ingredients. that will only give you a foothold to place judgment on this delicious meal. just take my word for it...this sandwich is something you will think about for days.

when bethany quit, she handed down to me her exercise ball. shes trying to start a tradition..as in..i give it to someone when i quit because she got it when someone else quit. but i dont know. ive been wanting one of these.

ive used it instead of my chair at work..and it really does work your abs. and you dont even know it!

brad and montey brought me this...surprise..one day after lunch.

im not sure how easy the photo will be to read when its on the blog...so ill give you the highlights of this treat.

•you make your own gummi ice cream

•the "ice cream" is so hard to squish..you have to hold it far away from you, squeeze with both thumbs and index fingers, and squint your eyes to even make a dent.

•there is technically chocolate sauce. however, its purple..and a $*!&# to get off your fingers. its similar to what you would call super glue.

•there are candy toppings that have unfortunately melted together. picture one of those window hangings you made as a child. you know..the ones that you cooked in the oven and the beads all melted together to make a collage of colors?

we paid brad a dollar to eat one i made...complete with chocolate sauce and sprinkes sticking out like crazy hair. that..creation..was going to be my picture for the day but he said he had to eat it RIGHT then or he would lose his confidence.

he ended up asking if he could spit out the ice cream part because it wasnt breaking down.

welcome back, old friend!

when i got my new phone in august, i was excited. for a little while. and then i started to miss my old one. the new one was perfectly fine...and i liked it. i just...missed the oldie.

my sister was in town this weekend and was telling me how terrible her phone was and really wasnt any help to her at all. it would only keep battery for maybe 2 minutes. barely long enough to make a call and definitely not long enough to have a conversation of any kind.

thats when my light bulb flashed! i gave her my new one and got my old one back! i couldnt be happier. and neither could she.

this..is lucys kitchen she got for her birthday. she L.O.V.E.S. it. she eats teddy grahams out of the sink, and lets her dolls play on the burners.
